Getting used to a hearing aid is not easy.

You will need to wear your hearing aid regularly to become accustomed to it and allow your ears to adjust to new sounds. You should also write down any problems you notice so that your hearing clinician knows how to fine-tune your hearing aid to make it better for you.

Don’t be discouraged if you make a list of all the sounds that you think don’t sound “right”. Quite often one small adjustment in your hearing aid settings can have a significant impact on how it sounds.
